Account and Sync
Your Account
Use the profile entry in the app bar to view account-related information and available profile options. The About area displays the app version and current environment, which can be useful when reporting a problem.
Data and Devices
Recipes and shopping lists are associated with the account you use to sign in. When moving to another device, sign in with the same account to access that data.
Subscription identity across devices
An Apple subscription is linked to one primary Cookery Trove account at a time. On a second device, sign in to that same Cookery Trove account and choose Restore Purchases. Using the same Apple account with a different Cookery Trove account does not transfer or duplicate access.
Signing out clears the prior account's local subscription and private cache before another account initializes. If Restore Purchases reports that the subscription belongs to another Cookery Trove account, sign back in to the original account. If that account is inaccessible or was deleted, contact support for an identity-recovery review. Transfers are not automatic and require verification.
Apple Family Sharing is not supported in Cookery Trove 1.0. Deleting a Cookery Trove account does not cancel the Apple subscription; manage or cancel billing in Apple Subscriptions separately.
If a recent change is not visible, return to the affected screen or use the refresh action on the Shopping List screen. Confirm that the expected shopping list is selected before making changes.
Shared Lists
Cookery Trove includes data support for shared shopping lists, but the in-app sharing experience is still being completed. See Shopping Lists for the current limitation.
Development Builds
Development builds display a DEV ribbon. Production builds do not. If you report a problem, include whether the ribbon was visible and the version shown in the app.
