Troubleshooting and Support

A Shopping List Looks Wrong

  1. Check the selected list in the list selector.
  2. Use the Shopping List refresh action.
  3. Confirm an item's category and aisle mapping from its item details.
  4. Review the list's mappings through Manage Shopping List Aisles.

An Item Is in the Wrong Place

Open the item details and choose the correct category. If that category needs to move for every item, update the category in Manage Shopping List Aisles instead.

A New Item Is Unassigned

This is expected for an item that has not yet been mapped to a store category. Open its details, choose a category, and save the item. Future additions of the same saved item can use that mapping.

What to Include in a Support Request

Include the following details so an issue can be reproduced:

  • The app version and whether a DEV ribbon was visible.
  • Your device type and operating-system version.
  • The screen and exact steps that led to the problem.
  • The expected result and what happened instead.
  • A screenshot, while avoiding personal or sensitive information.

Do not include account passwords or other credentials in a support request.

Email support requests to support@cookerytrove.com.

A subscription is linked to another account

First sign in to the Cookery Trove account originally used to purchase or restore the subscription. A second device must use that same Cookery Trove identity. One Apple purchase cannot activate unrelated Cookery Trove accounts, and Family Sharing is not supported in version 1.0.

If the original account is inaccessible or was deleted, email support@cookerytrove.com. Include the affected Cookery Trove email addresses and the approximate purchase date, but never send an Apple password, payment-card information, or a full receipt. Support recovery is verified, audited, independently approved, and completed only after you restore the purchase again on the approved target account.
